Not sure how you expect people to bid on that Roosevelt coil when you have an opening bid that is 4 times the catalogue value and over ten times market value.
Plus . . . It's got rough edges, and it is soiled and/or foxed.
Plus . . . You are insulting prospective bidders with your descriptive hyperbole. That is NOT an amazingly preserved piece. It does NOT make an amazing addition to even the most basic beginner's collection.
Plus . . . What does "completely unused" mean? I've never seen a stamp that was partly unused.
Plus . . . That stamp has nowhere near "almost perfect" centering. Look at the name on the bottom. On the right side, the t almost touches the perf hole, while on the left side, the F is well inside of the perfs.
You would do well to bone up on integrity and honest marketing.
Actually it depends on how he is sending it. If he is sending it via first class letter rate it is out of line with most of the sellers. If he is sending it via first class parcel with tracking the costs range from $3.66 to $4.08 depending on the zone. In which case he would be losing money on the shipping to zones 8 and 9. And if he sending it that way it should be mentioned.
