The point is that the event and other covers which are neither postal history or event covers are now BURIED within the postal history covers. Should these type of covers actually be coming up in a postal history search?

And if so why? And if not why not? And if you are looking for postal history only do you really want to see thousands of those type covers under postal history?
No disagreement here! I was demonstrating how I presently filter out a portion of the non-postal history covers. Mandolinhummel? Yikes.
That's a great solution, Paul!! Clever idea!
You know, I just tried pretty much the same search words, but without the 'us' at the beginning. Instead, I selected United States in the search menu . . .
. . . and got 14,000 more listings than you did- including one of MY auctions that didn't show up in your search!!

I know I will loose a small amount of postal history; but, this does remove a lot of non-postal history stuff.
I saw some of your work. Very nice. You are an important assets to the hobby!
