    Scott catalogue lists a Scott #7 with an unofficial perf 12.5, but this is perf 12. Do you think someone reperfed all 4 sides? Thanks in advance for all of your help.

    It doesn't appear to be a #7 (type II), as the side ornaments are incomplete. The image below is of a PSE certified #7. Compare the scroll work on the upper right quarter of the two stamps.7 cert 001

    Hi Mark,

    Thanks - I believe it is a Scott #24 with the perfs trimmed-off and reperfed. But why would someone reperf 12 instead of 15?
