Post-Revolution Cuban Definitive stamps

Does Cuba issue definitive stamps? It seems all Post-Revolution stamps I've seen are commemoratives. What stamps do ordinary Cuban citizens use to mail letters?

Well, during my earliest years, I would get Cuban stamps to soak off of paper from relatives with correspondence from Cuba. They were always commemoratives. I did go by a Cuban post office
( been there 3 times in past few years) and just commemoratives. I think your observation is valid. Stamps are used to memorialize and often as propaganda. The old definitives would have heroes of the revolution and Cuban staples like Marti, Maceo, Cespedes, ( giants in the battles for liberty from Spanish oppression). Later Che and Marx, but my answer would be whatever commemorative they were selling for postage. Just not many contemporary collectors there on La Isla these days. Now Miami, that's quite a different story.
