Revenue Scott # R134 Color Variation ?

I have a Scott # R134 that is brown and black instead of the listed orange and black. It is the same color brown as the Scott R136 and R139. Is this an unlisted color variety or just a stamp that is faded by chemicals or sunlight ? ..... Photo will not upload, will try later

A photo would be helpful, but chances are this is a 'color changeling,' orange being one of the more susceptible colors to this process. known as sulfurization.

Orange to brown. Happens all the time.

Try soaking it in Hydrogen Peroxide, the brown will turn back to orange. Rinse it in plain water and dry.
