Costs at E-Bay

I often check E-Bay for items to list. Unfortunately, I am disabled and cannot get out of my chair, so I cannot attend meetings, shows and auctions where stamps are usually sold. Unfortunately, prices being sold by sellers that I used as late as 6 months ago have really jumped in price. Items I could buy for as little as $10.00 are now selling for $25 to $30.00. That makes them priced out of my price field.

    That would be the buyer's down-side to a relatively hot market...

    I have experienced that much of the "up-selling" is wishful thinking by some sellers. Auctions outside of HS are trending 30 % lower unofficially. The market in 6-12 months will be down, my prediction. But the market so varies for different levels of value.

    It depends on the material... Few of the real gems will go down. It may just take a little longer to sell them than before.

    exactly, Scott. One of my bellweather watch is US 122 and it is now stagnant . I watch the c13-15 plate blocks, those stay high ...while US 1 and 2 bounce everywhere....
