Box lots, collections, etc

I'm sorry to have to ask such a basic question, but I've searched and searched with no reward. I'm interested in buying large lots of worldwide stamps and covers to play with. Talking inexpensive stamps and covers, not singles, etc. I'm assuming there are oodles of such listings on Hipstamp, so how do I navigate to them?

If you would like to send me a message and let me know what you are trying to accomplish I can help point you to material that will be most likely to provide what you are looking for - if you're trying to maximize variety (country collections) vs gathering material to resell (accumulations, stock, wholesale lots), vs searching in the hopes of finds (the boxlots or the mixtures or "gambler" lots I offer have opportunity for this!) etc.

I just received a nice mixture of 200 stamps from Stamps-Plus (Jim Forte). Wide variety of commemoratives and definitives at a very good price (less than 2 cents per stamp even after shipping). He has many of these lots for sale.

Doug, how did you find these listings in the 1st place? This illustrates the point made by tohill2, in his original post. I just did several searches of the Stamps Plus store and did not come up with a single search result using the search terms: box, lot, mixture, collection, or accumulation (all searches used only one term). I did not find the relevant listing until I searched the Stamps Plus feedback for your feedback post.

And I STILL don't know how I can buy anything from this listing. Since I clicked through the link from your feedback, the page I get is a copy of the listing you ordered from, but lacking a Buy It Now button. The only thing I can think of now is to do a sort of his entire enventory by price, then scroll to the $2.79 listings.

That's odd. Sorry, but I can't remember how I found that listing or when I found it. I have a bad habit of throwing stuff into my cart and letting it sit there forever. Then every once in a while I scroll through my cart and make a purchase.

I would just email him and ask - his main page says he has "Lots and Collections" and I don't see it anywhere. I know that his postal history site has a fairly quirky search function snd I assume the stamp site is similar but he has always responded to emails in a timely fashion....

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts/information. Here's what I conclude:

There are really almost no box lots/collections materials being offered thru hipstamp.

I will follow-up with Ron Carmichael.

It is surprising that hipstamps is not apparently interested in this type of material

At the search bar at the top of the main page type in "lots" - there are almost 30,000 lots. Then type in "collections" - there are over 16,000 collections. Sort by highest price to lowest and you will find "lots" up to $7500 and collections up to $25,000. Drill down on the left side for the price range you are interested in - there is a lot of material.
