Currencies on stamps of the state of India
While I am not ordinarily a collector of Indian stamps, I do have several hundred that I would like to curate. I am having difficulty trying to figure out the face values of these stamps, so I know there are going to be some kindly, knowledgeable and helpful folks out there who might help me out, please.
I have figured out there are "Anas", "R" (Rupee), "N.P." and "Pies" - maybe more?? Did one get phased out? Which values are subordinate to others? What are the dates of the various changes.
A lot of questions I realise...
Thanks in advance.
