Someone please tell me if this is a used or unused stamp based on the markings

  I am fairly new to the business of stamps and need some help. I found this SCOTT 277 in a small pack and although I am becoming familiar with this fascinating hobby I don't know how I should go about listing this particular. It appears to be new with no glue - but could someone advise me on how I should list it. Thank you - Bob

  Appears to me to be used. But what is the perforation gauge? A casual look says it could also be 2875. 277 is perf 12 with watermark 191. 2875 is perf 11. Casual look says 2875.

  Looks canceled on the front therefore used.

  There are traces of blue ink cancel in the lower-right margin. May have been used to mail a parcel or large envelope.

  The stamp appears to be US 2875
