The buyer has to hit the "Get pre-approved " button on one of your listings. That will send a request to you to approve them for other payment methods Mike
As a seller, how do I activate the "Pay Later" option for a bidder who will only agree tp pay by check?
I can't seem to find the instructions for setting up this 'Pre-Approved' feature anywhere on my Members Area pages.
I had resisted doing this previously because I did not want to be inundated with checks coming in at the end of a large auction, but I've had several requests from potential bidders who vow they will never sign up for PayPal!
I finally got the hang of 'Pre-Approving' people after a few missteps and hiccups . . . and I won't know how it works or whether it works until the end of this large (for me) auction I am running.
Is it true that people have to send me a separate request for each lot in this auction that they want to bid on, and perhaps win?
One fellow has bid on 23 lots so far and asked me if he has to go through the process over and over again for each of those 23 lots. I don't know the answer - does each lot have to be 'Pre-Approved' separately and individually?
Or is he 'good to go' for any purchases he might make from me after being Approved just once??
