Not TakenExtended Vacation

Hello,
When VACATION MODE is turned on, buyers can view and buy stamps, with an alert that purchases will not be sent until the store owner returns (on a specified date).
When EXTENDED VACATION MODE is turned on, the alert says "Please note that this seller is currently on extended vacation, and can not accept transactions at this time.
Though my store is still there, buyers couldn't even see my store, the items in it nor the alert as stated above.

Shouldn't the store be visible to buyers with the alert "Please note that this seller is currently on extended vacation, and can not accept transactions at this time".?
Can you also add a return date to the EXTENDED VACATION MODE?

  • This is how Extended Vacation is intended to work.

If you will be unavailable and cannot fill orders for an extended time, your store and items will not be visible to buyers during this time. Otherwise, we would be showing results to buyers looking to purchase items, only to then inform them that those items could not be purchased - this would be a very poor experience for our buyers.
  • See, this is a much friendlier site than the Business Protectors. If you get behind in payment there, they have a very different concept of "extended vacation".
  • Hi, Mark, would it be possible to add a return date to the extended vacation or is there a reason for not including it ?
