This appears to be India Scott 57 with overprint for Jind State but Scott does not list. India Scott 56 is listed with overprint as Jind Scott O15 Does anyone have information on this? Fake perhaps?
The only stamp it could possibly be, per the Scott Catalogue is Jind State Scott #O10. But, that stamp should be violet brown in color. The bottom part of the overprint looks to be skewed and not paralell from the top part.
I would not consider it to be a color changeling, since the base stamp was issued in that color.
Check the bottom part of the overprint to see if it is printed on top of the cancellation. I would suspect it as counterfeit, but it is not a valuable stamp, so why was it done, if it is a counterfeit? Not much to gain there.
