  • it would appear to be, but CTO tend to be canceled in the corners not sock on the nose
  • That's what confused me, so I figured I would ask.
  • Given the location of the cds which, as Kris mentioned, isn't in a corner (CTO's being cancelled four at a time for expediency), and the fact that there is full, clean gum on the back, I would consider this one as being 'favor cancelled.'
  • It also looks to be a forged overprint. The overprint is on top of the cancel.
  • Is it, Frederick???

Hard to tell from the pic.
  • Gonna save all my money
And buy a CTO (turnin' it on blowin' it out)
Get a helmet and a roll bar
And I'll be ready to go (turnin' it on, blowin' it out)
    Take it out to Pomona
And let 'em know, yeah yeah (turnin' it on blowin' it out)
That I'm the coolest thing around
Little buddy, gonna shut you down
When I turn it on, wind it up, blow it out, CTO
  • It's these expressions
    I never give
    That keep me searching
    For a CTO
    And I'm getting old
    Keep me searching
    For a CTO
    And I'm getting old
    I've been to Hollywood
    I've been to Redwood
    I crossed the ocean
    For a CTO
    I've been in my mind
    It's such a fine line
    That keeps me searching
    For a CTO
    And I'm getting old
    Keeps me searching
    For a CTO
    And I'm getting old
  • Oh no! Not more childish posts!! (sarcasm).

BTW, the cds clearly lies on top of the 'LIBRE.' If you look at all the letters in the inverted image, all of them exhibit mottling except for the 'I' where the ink from the cds covers the mottling, resulting in a smooth appearance as compared to the others.AA
  • CSI: Philately, starring George DeKornfeld.
  • As long as we are finding fault(s), the backside has taken on some blemishes, some natural and some collector applied. No need to elaborate what your own eyes can detect. I kinda relate to being "under the microscope"
  • Wow! From a picture!. Incredible.
