Suspended account
My question is this to hip. Why did they pre bill me over 300.00 on a transaction before it was payed for then suspend my account within minutes after the sale? As it is the holiday season my credit card could not at the time of the sale just minutes ago handle there 300.00 billing, Is there not at least a few days to pay hip there final sale fee? Or do we all have to pre pay for everything me might sell? This is just plain bad business.Has this happened before?

I, like Greg, have had quite good follow-up from the Hipstamp administration in matters from auctions, retaliatory feedback, how to handle buyers, etc. I believe they might have even contributed to my behavioral re-training. Not sure just how successful it was, though.
Your account with us is not suspended (if it were you could not post in our forums), and I understand that our staff has been in communication with you over the issue in question.
It does appear that your store was inadvertently closed due to an issue with updating your card on file with us. Our team has offered to help you re-instate your store, as well as all of your listings, but I understand you have declined their help. If you would like further help with this issue, please continue to follow up with our team.
For general reference to everyone, as indicated in our terms and on the page in which you provide your card on file to us, if your account balance with us is over $250 at any time, your card on file will be charged for your current account balance. However, if your card is declined at any time, your account (and store) would not be instantly suspended. We do provide you with time to resolve the issue and will email you multiple times over a reasonable period of days to resolve the issue. Additionally, if there is an issue with your card, make sure to use the update card option, and not the remove card option, as if you remove your card entirely - this would close your store. If you inadvertently click this option, you're first provided with a confirmation box explaining that your store will close if you take this action.
