Can't Find This Russian Stamp
Can anyone point me to this stamp in Scott's? It is very similar to #'s 79 and 124 in it's upper 3/4ths, but more like Scott A14 in it lower 1/4th except the numerals are in the upper portion as in Scott A15. Anyway I can't find it. Thanks.
John, I am away from my catalogs now, but the stamp has both Cyrillic and Latin inscriptions. Try early Finland, it was a Russian province before WW1. "Marka" and "penna" (pen.) are commonly found on Finnish stamps. If that 2c don't fit, just toss it back...
Finland Scott 70 or 79b depending on the perfs.
