My attempts (twice) at placing a vacation hold aren't working?

I set up a few days ago. Surprisingly I got an order yesterday. I searched for a stamp in my store, and the listing said nothing about the hold. Tried again...no luck. What the hey? Is there something special that needs to be done?

Your vacation notification is posted on the the listings. (This is what it says near the top of your listings . It's not at the top of your store landing page. Please note that this seller is currently on vacation thru Wednesday, September 21, 2022, and this item may not ship until the seller returns.) You can still get sales unless your store is on extended vacation. In that case they don't show your listings at all.

LOL....funny you should say that. I received another, and decent, order yesterday,
After looking at the notification of vacation on my listings, I wonder if people are really seeing it. Very small (comparatively print). Hell, I didn't see it and I was looking for it.
