Hipstamp Fees

Can someone explain the timing and flow through of money from a sale....amount paid, amount sent to Paypal, fees to seller, etc? I've got some charges on my bank account that I can't quite figure out. Is there somewhere to get a list of what portions of receipt of funds from a sale transaction are divied up?

  • PayPal deducts their fees directly from the buyer’s payment immediately as it is received. You must go to each transaction in your PayPal account to find these fees.
The amount of fees taken by HipStamp for each transaction are shown on your account History page. HipStamp accumulates these fees and bills my credit card on the second of each month. I pay my subscription fee annually, so the only Hip fees hitting my card on the 2nd are those related to sales from the previous month.
Thus, I must visit three sites (PayPal, HipStamp, and my credit card) to see if my daily records reconcile at the end of the month.
