Not TakenBoxes keep clearing when listing an item
This has been happening about a month now. When I 'list a similar' item, I change the title and the date and catalogue number boxes clear (or rather I include both scott and SG such as : 744-747,SG1262-SG1265 and it only clears the first scott numbers but leaves the SG numbers). So then I fill these in again. If I then update catalogue numbers, the date box clears again. If I change the title again, the catalogue and date boxes clear again.
Can this behaviour be stopped as half the time when I list the item I find the date and catalogue numbers are missing. Really time consuming and annyoying.

This saves a significant amount of time from re-entering the same information, and helps to ensure that all of our filters work properly for buyers. It's also how the List an Item page has worked for over a year.
To avoid any issue, just fill in the information in the order which it appears on the page.
More specifically, fill in the Title first, then fill in / make any changes you want to the Catalog Number field, and finally fill in / make any changes you want to the Year field.
So it is a bug?
This is a feature, actually one of our core features, which hundreds of Sellers use every week.
Per the above, we automatically extract the Country, Catalog Number, Condition, etc. from the Title field when you enter it - and then fill in the Item Specific fields for you automatically. In many cases, we can also automatically fill in the Year of Issue and Stamp Type as well (even if the Seller did not enter this information) when we have this information available in our Catalog.
This feature makes using the List Your Item process significantly faster, as well as helps to ensure that buyers can find items by using the various filters on our site (which are also automatically applied to imported listings).
In the event that the Catalog Number field changes (whether from being manually edited, or from being updated from a change in the Title), the Year of Issue field will be automatically updated. If we don't have the Year of Issue in our Catalog, we clear the Year of Issue field. This is so that it does not appear we've automatically filled this in, when we have not, since it would then be left as-is and wrong (this was actually the original behavior, and after much discussion, including in our forums, with our Sellers, the new workflow was implemented).
We do not currently provide an option to change how the List Your Item process works. Just to clarify, are you referring to using the List Similar process, or Editing an existing listing? Adding an image should not have any effect on any of the item specific fields. If you see this happen again, please let us know which specific item listing you're referring to.
So for example instead of "744-747,SG1262-SG1265", enter "#744-747,SG1262-SG1265"
Let me know if that works.
Something else I've had a problem with recently when using the "list similar" feature is that setting the "Stamp Type" to "Back of Book (other) - Telegraph Stamps" usually results in the system changing that to "Back of Book (other) - Acknowledgement of Receipt." About 90% of the time, after listing telegraph stamps, I must remember to go back and edit the "Stamp Type" to correct this change in "Stamp Type" back to the "Telegraph" type that I entered. Once I've edited the new listings, the "Telegraph" type sticks and the listings don't revert back to the "Acknowledgement" stamp type again. I've listed nearly 50 telegraph stamps in recent days and this strange behavior has occurred on most of those listings. I've never seen this behavior on any other type "Stamp Type" of listing. Only on the "Telegraph" listings. I've never used the "Acknowledgement of Receipt" for any listings.
Just something to look into in your spare time!
