If the seller has 250 negative and neutral feedback in the last year, and you bought from them a second time and were burned a second time, I would say the feedback system was working perfectly... trying to tell you to find a different dealer to buy…

Thanks for your suggestions. I appreciate the help. Bob

Thanks guys. It's been a couple of years or more since I ran across a paste-up pair. As I recall, Scott Specialized used to have a page just for paste-ups, and a listing in the Table of Contents. But, my memory is often faulty. Thanks again.
-
Wow. It appears that I'm not the only one who can't find the page. Did Scott do away with it????

Thanks for all of the responses. Unfortunately, I see it is a worldwide problem, not just my local post office or one particular distribution center. It has the feeling that we are going to be living with this for several months to come. Hopefull…

Wow, I don't know where that "900 orders" came from. It's actually "300+" orders. Oops.
-
You might be totally correct about it being some distribution center somewhere in the country. There is just no way of knowing, without tracking. Out of the 900 plus orders I mailed out in the last month, so far there have been 5 customer complain…

Hey JT Out of 220 people who have viewed this thread, you are apparently the only one to have a block that actually measures 11.2, like the catalog says it should. Thank you for taking the time to post a scan of it. I was beginning to wonder if …

lol In junior high school someone gave me the nickname "12".
-
My thanks to both of you, Ted and Les. Good information that answered my questions. I appreciate your help. Bob

Thanks for taking the time to respond, Les. I appreciate it. Yeah, none of mine are measuring an exact 11 either. They are probably between 11.05 and 10.95. But closer to 11 than they are to 11.2. Thanks again, Les.

With 93 people viewing this post and nobody saying they have a C108 with 11.2 perfs, I'm beginning to think there aren't any, and that the Scott catalog is wrong. Can anybody refute that assumption?

I have only run into PayPal "pending" when I sell a Cuban stamp. The PayPal software obviously hasn't been updated since Obama made it legal to sell to Cuba... about 10 years ago. Every Cuban stamp I sell I have to call PayPal and talk to a human …

And, what does the catalog mean by "Perf 11 line" for C108a ? I don't recall seeing that terminology on any other stamp. What "line" is it referring to? To make my original question a little more clear, "Does anybody have a C108 that has 11.2 pe…

Thanks George. That is a very helpful site.
-
I have the same question. The only answer I have been given is that the stamp has to be plated, that the color doesn't distinguish between the two, regardless of what Scott says.

Thanks Paul.

Auctions. No forced payment on auctions.

You are absolutely correct, in what you are saying. But if the customer hasn't paid, there is no email from PayPal. And to find where the customer paid for an order "a month or two ago", there is no searching in PayPal. You have to scroll down un…

Yes, I agree with Jacques. Many times when a customer isn't responding to messages, I have gotten their attention by writing an email. But getting their email address thru PayPal is quite time consuming, and, of course, impossible for a first-time…

Wow, even more good suggestions. Thanks everyone!

Thanks guys. Both are good suggestions.

"This is an excellent suggestion, and something we plan on adding in the future." Good. Thanks for letting us know. Sincerely, Bob

Hey Robert. Just like any site, the more you use it the easier it is to get around in. And, like any site, there are things I like and things I don't like. I would say that if you are finding good stamps (or whatever you are shopping for) at a go…

Take a look at your SENT messages. Look at how many are still marked as UNREAD. How many of those were not ever delivered to their email system? How many were delivered to their email system but got lost in their JUNK mail? How many of the br…

Here's another message I received from a good customer who I emailed because he hadn't paid for an Offer I had accepted 8 days prior: ============================================================ Hi Bob: I didn't know I won the bid on the Prexies. …

I just received this message from one of my customers who asked if I would put a lot on extension. I responded "yes." Then I heard nothing from him. I wrote him again, asking if he had changed his mind. This was his response: -------------------…

Yes, I have had those shortcuts on my browser since HipStamp went live, and they save a lot of time. But what is kind of funny, even with the shortcuts, I will forget to click on the message shortcut. Probably because I don't get messages very oft…

I stand corrected, Michael. You are absolutely right. By clicking on MEMBERS AREA it takes you into the message system automatically. It is the same as clicking on the MESSAGES menu option. But now, to show you what I am talking about, after you…
