No, it doesn't. You have go into the message feature to see if you have any new messages or not. But messages are not the only thing that a good notification system would alert you to. A new sale, a new payment, a new offer. Anything that needs …

Hey Doug, I can't count the number of customers who didn't even know there was a message system and were quite surprised to see the messages I sent them. Plus, I know there is a message system but will completely forget about it for days. It real…

Thanks for the change you made to printing invoices. Much better! Many more line items, and it is large enough font that my 67 year-old eyes can still read it. Vast improvement. Thank you. Bob

I second that. Good suggestion, Paul.
-
Good suggestion, Rob. I second that one.

I agree with Steven. It certainly would save on paper, and postage, if the purchased items on an invoice were spaced more like PayPal's packing slip. It still looks very nice and professional, yet allows for several more items per page.

The topic was on the importance of sending invoices, or not. I contend that if you (or any of your customers) ever get audited by the IRS, you will wish you had all of the invoices to prove your cost in your inventory, or in the stamp collection yo…

Hi Ted... Yes, but after you find the listing and the associated private ID, then you have to work your way back to wherever you were to either answer the customer's question in the Message feature or accept/decline/counter their Offer. The edit me…

Contratulations! Not a fun experience, is it. And I agree... the grayer the better.
-
Yes!! Thank you Mark. That will save a lot of time. I appreciate it. Bob Gage

Good story, Dennis!! But I have sat with my clients as a team of IRS auditors scour over 3 years of books, entry by entry, for four days. It's not a fun time, for anybody. And they are thorough. Inventory costing was one of their topics. At the…

When the IRS auditor asks you to prove your cost in an item that you bought 3 years ago, how many of you will remember where you bought it? Even though the odds are against you remembering where you bought every stamp in your inventory or collectio…

Here is the link to my store https://www.hipstamp.com/store/bobs-us-stamps-shoppe

Thanks John. That is what I was looking for. Have you found that the Sales and Promotions generate a lot of sales?
-
OK, I'll try again. Other than being higher up on the list of stores, what is the benefit of having a Premium Featured store?
-
I hope you do too, Charles.

And, from this 67 year old, what is "sex"?
-
Yes, it is tedious, I agree.
-
I hear ya, Doug. It gets pretty tedious, doesn't it. Yes, I used those 1, 2 and 3 shortcuts extensively. They worked very well. Hopefully when things slow down a little bit for Mark and Justin they can setup the same type of thing in Hip. And, …

I enjoyed visiting with you too, John. I guess the most accurate way to make this request is that I would like "STICKY SUB-MENUS" throughout the program. I hope that makes more sense.
-
Is it going back to the PAID/NOT SHIPPED screen, or just to the main ORDER screen?
-
I ask again, PLEASE add the private ID number to the listings. Having the item ID number handy is nice, but I very seldom ever have to refer to it. But I am constantly having to refer to my private ID number and have to EDIT the listing and scroll…

Well, I see it is now 5 months later, and the confusion still persists. I ran into it last night listing booklets and panes. To me, the ideal is to make it easy for the customer to find the product he wants to buy. I don't believe the average cust…

I just ran into this problem when listing about 50 booklets last night, before reading this thread. It made more sense to me to choose "Block" rather than "Multiple" (for no real reason other than to me blocks are always rectangular/square where mu…

Thanks Jeri. I don't know why, but it makes me feel better that I'm not alone with this problem. I had the same issue at Stanley Gibbons. But not at BidStart. Yeah, I hear you. It takes a long time to edit multiple listings. We can only hope…

Hey Ted and Jeri. Is mine the only store with this problem? Have you sorted your store by Country-Catalog number and looked at the very last page to see if everything is as it should be? In my case, it is the last 3 or 4 pages of stamps that are…
-
Thanks Ted and Jeri. I appreciate your input. After I posted my problem above, I edited several of them and discovered the Country, the Condition, the Type, the Format, and even some of the Catalog number fields were blank. I filled them in and …

Thanks Mark. That will work for me.

The reason I didn't know is because the only screen this works is in the forums. Fine for people who spend a lot of time texting, but it doesn't help the people who are wanting to sell stamps. So, once again, I ask for a notification icon through-…

Wow.... who knew? Thanks Ted.
