1855 stampless cover from Newport RI to San Francisco, California. Black CDS, red paid 10 in circle over 10 manuscript; cover with damage at left (tear and piece of front out) where opened, but has original content to provide year date. Starting April 1, 2019, I am required to collect and remit sales tax on shipments to California residents (state tax only, 7.25%. You may remain liable for any use tax on the county or district portions of tax). Hip handles collection and remittance of taxes from other states, including Washington and Iowa. Until Congress, the states, and the Supreme Court come up with an efficient online tax regime, we'll just have to deal with it. I combine shipping on won items but please aggregate things and pay in a single payment to save multiple paypal payments.Basic domestic shipping is FREE for this item (some of my items are consigned and I do charge postage for those; please check individual items). Over $30, I use a cardboard mailer. Over $50, tracking is included for domestic. $2 shipping for international. I use at least one current stamp on virtually all outgoing mail. If you'd like tracking on a less expensive, you can simply select that option at the extra cost ($4.50, thanks to 2019 USPS rate changes).
