Up for auction is a beautiful folder cover from Germany commemorating the German Afrika Korps, DAK, for Wehrmacht day with stamps and cancels from Libya, Germany, Italy, Tunisia and France and assorted cancellations from the war theater of North Africa. Note the signature (appears to be auto pen or facsimile) autograph of field marshall Erwin Rommel. Postmarked March 17, 1940 but they were issued on April 20, 1943. In excellent condition. Priced to sell. Exceptionally rare item. Only 2,000 were made in world War 2, this one is numbered 1270. 80 years after the end of world war 2 how many are still in existence? These sheets rarely come onto the market. Buy it while you still can!
