Item Description
Up for auction is a beautiful dual censored cover from a German Prisoner of War, POW, held at the POW camp in Fort Riley, Kansas and mailed to Germany. Postmarked December 18, 1944. Excellent condition but shows some wear. Dual censorship by US and German authorities. Sender is a prisoner named Heini Drouin.Note the discoloration caused by chemicals applied by either US censors or German authorities to detect hidden writing or invisible ink!
