Item Description

Full mint sheet of 50 - 6 cent stamps issued in 1968 to honor flags carried by American colonists and by citizens of the new United States. Printed se-tenant in vertical rows of 10. The flag sequence on the lower panes is First Navy Jack 1775, Philadelphia Light Horse 1775, Grand Union 1776, Bunker Hill 1775, First stars and stripes 1777, Rhode Island 1775, Bennington 1777, Washington's Cruisers 1775, Ft. McHenry 1795-1818, and Ft. Moultrie 1776. The picture above shows a strip of 10 stamps from the sheet. This sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 50+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #1345-54. I may have a variety of plate numbers and positions available so ask if you are looking for something in particular.
