Item Description

Buy Canadian. The exchange rate for all major currencies is currently very attractive. The stamp to commemorate the 1928 International Philatelic Exhibition in Melbourne from 29 October to 1 November 1928. The regular issue is SG 113, but this is the OS pervin variety, SG 0113. Note there is a guide dot in the upper right corner. The Australian Commonwealth Specialists' Catalogue Shows this in its illustration of the associated miniature sheet on the top left stamp.
All OS stamps of this issue were, however, created from the sheets of 120.
