Item Description

This is the 1888 postally used special delivery 10c postage stamp for sale. The stamp is completely sound. This is the second issue of the special delivery stamps and features the second or adjusted phrase "Secures Delivery at Any Post Office" whereas the first issue read "Secures Delivery at Any Special Delivery Office". The margins are clear on all sides, although just shy of the lower and right perforations. Please review the the images for light cancellation, clarity, color, condition, and centering.
