Item Description

This is the three-stamp set of Free French issues at auction. The stamps were printed in Great Britain during World War II by the Free French government after the German-occupation began. This trio of historic gems does get a mention and valuation in Scott, although they do not have specific Scott numbers since they were not actually placed into service. The stamps are Post Office fresh and all three have full original, never hinged gum. The two lower values are typically centered, while the 2 Franc, 50 cent issues is much nocer than usual. Please study the image for clarity, color, condition, and centering.
