Historical Context The Verband Deutscher Handlungsgehilfen, later the Deutschnationaler Handlungsgehilfen-Verband (DHV), was a large German white-collar trade union with a nationalist political orientation. This stamp is from a series sold to members to raise funds for the Taunusheim, a convalescent home in the Taunus mountains.
