SCARCE PEN-MAR THEATRE MAILER: Roughly 8" x 11.5" mailer from the Pen-Mar Theatre in Cardiff Maryland (actually the border town of Delta-Cardiff which straddles Harford County Maryland and York County Pennsylvania), for August & September 1941 (one month per side), these mailers have the schedules for films shown for the two upcoming months and were placed in all boxes in Cardiff (they bear a Cardiff MD postal permit #1), aside from being a great piece of local history and having collectibility as a commercial postal "cover", they also have many interesting films and stars mentioned: Bette Davis in The Great Lie, Gene Autry in The Singing Hill, also Mickey Rooney, Jimmy Stewart, James Cagney, Marlene Dietrich, etc, etc, quite a few Westerns, some toning and foxing, second side is soiled, these mailers were used and this is about as nice as they come, very desirable in any condition, Fine.
