FDC produced for the 32c stamp issued in recognition of the Marines raising the U.S. flag on Iwo Jima on February 23, 1945, issued as part of the final World War II Souvenir Sheet, on September 2, 1995 in Honolulu, Hawaii (Sc. 2981a). Black, green & yellow cachet produced by LRC Cachets (Larry Carney), featuring the headlines from "The Stars and Stripes", the flag raising on Iwo Jima, the Marine insignia, and some informative text.
