Here is a mint never hinged collection of the first set of fourteen coils released in the transportation coil series. The TRANSPORTATION SERIES is the largest and longest lasting coil series in US history. It started in 1981 and finished up in 1995 with four different Scott catalog number runs (see my other auctions). The first release includes fourteen different designs from Scott 1897 - 1 cent Omnibus - through to Scott 1908 - 20 cent Fire Pumper. This set includes a mint never hinged single and pair of all fourteen different designs without any of the precancel or tagging varieties (see my other auctions if looking for the COMPLETE SET).
