The United States Specialist, originally named The Bureau Specialist because it focused mainly on the output of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), expanded to cover all U.S. issues, both classic and modern, regardless of the printer. It was especially strong in reporting stamp printing technology related to plate varieties, plate layouts, marginal markings and plate numbering but it also contained great general interest articles. You will find something compelling in each issue because they cover multiple, specific aspects of U.S. philately... A great addition to your philatelic library.
