Item Description
Condition:Used/MailedU.S. Scott 805 Prexie/Prexy paying the 1.5 cent third-class single piece rate. Cover, which likely contained advertising material, was mailed on April 5, 1940 from New York City to Kansas City, Missouri and has a 1940 New York World's Fair cancel. Cover contains a corner card and advertisement picturing a French Horn for Sansone Musical Instruments, Inc. in New York City. Ad also states that Sansone is the "World's Largest French Horn House". An internet search revealed that Lorenzo Sansone of Sansone Musical Instruments wrote and published a musical score "French Horn Concertino: with Piano Accompaniment" in 1940. Back flap was cut off when opened but otherwise the cover is in very good condition. If you purchase stamps from us totaling over $15 on the same day (with the exception of specified excluded items), we will waive the shipping charge.Seller Information
