A. Willams esq. Cashier frederick, maryland. Possible russet brown color which was used only in 1849. According to elliott perry, cumberland, maryland received 6,600 five cent stamps during the years they were used. (scott 2021 catalog values #1 on cover at $425.00) sent c. 1849, opened fairly cleanly at wax seal, normal file folds, light general wear & toning. Fine condition.
