To remove hinges from an album page I take my tongs and on the flat end I rub it across the stamp. It breaks up the gum.

these are precancels. look at the bottom of the stamp, the purple date indicates they have been used.

the way I do it is. mark the order as shipped also I give feedback thus the buyer can see when the order was shipped. buyer will not pay $4.00 or more for tracking.
