What's the difference between Germany Scott type A1 and A4?

E.g., Sc. #9 and #23. They look identical to me.

Never mind. As usual I didn't read the fine print. For those who'd like to know without looking it up, the A1 has a small embossed shield, the A4 a large shield. So this is an A1 (Sc. #9), I guess.Ger9u
