Shipping other than USA

Wondering what the pros and cons of shipping to other countries are. I see that a lot of us do USA only. Some select few other countries. I have wondered about adding Canada? I also have had inquiries about shipping to UK or France. Are there monetary issues using Pay Pal or exchange rates? Your input and experiences would be valued and appreciated. Dwight

    Hello Dwight,

    The 2 main reasons that a lot of sellers have gotten away from shipping outside the US is due to USPS and UPU rules ,regulations and postage costs on shipping outside the US. To legally ship any merchandise outside the US all merchandise MUST have a customs form on it and they can now only be shipped via first class parcel or better. For example to ship a $25 order to any where in Ontario the current post office rate is $15.75 to mail.

    And to add insult to injury both Paypal and Hipstamp both take a cut of your shipping and handling. Hipstamp will take just shy of 9% and Paypal charges the current rate for US transactions plus and a bit extra.
