Not TakenPayPal remains open when purchasing items

Recently I was making a purchase, I then went to my PayPal account to see how much I had left, and found out that the PayPal account was still open. In BidStart, there was an option to either return to shopping, or to go to the PayPal account.

Even though the account is still open on the internet, when making an additional purchase, I needed to log in again.

I feel the leaving PayPal open is a potential security risk -- can you please check it out?

    We don't have any control over what happens when you login to PayPal, and the experience would be the same whether you are paying for items through HipStamp, ebay our any other website and using PayPal.

    In general, once you sign in to PayPal you'll remain signed in for a fixed amount of time (I believe it is 15 minutes). This wasn't always the case, but has been for the last few years (at least 2013). I believe you can also change these settings in your PayPal Account Settings.
