Oh Geez Ted! Really! Oh goodness! I "ASSUMED" I insert my ID (51541) in lue of {{private_id}}.jpg!!! Ok, Rookie mistake (#1,004)... I'll retry your expanded assistance, @Ted Tyszka ! Thanks!
Lets say you are doing 105 listings. What I do it type up all the listings titles then I go and work on the image numbers. Let's say I am starting at 796. Type in 795 in the first box. Highlight that column up to the last listing title, click that little box, which is an auto fill, which will fill in that column for you so you don't have to type it out. Since those are the same numbers you are using for your private ID's, you can copy and paste those numbers into the private ID column without having to type it out. (The highlighted area has to be the same size otherwise it won't work.)Hope this clarifies that paragraph.
I just discovered my post sitting here waiting to be posted for the last hour. Oh, well...
Michael David, let me try to help. Your CSV file has a column labeled private_id. In that column you place the file name of your image (without the .jpg) If your image file name is 123.jpg, your private_id should be 123 Then, in the template, in the Image box, you have {{private_id}}.jpg I'm not sure if the template fields are case sensitive, but just to be sure, make the csv column name and the template text in the brackets exactly the same. That should do the trick.
The way I do it, you can do an auto fill on the column. And then do a copy and paste the one into the other. That takes me less than a minute to do it. With the way you have it typed out the auto fill will not work. (I have tried that multiple times and won't work)
Auto-fill works fine for me. I can put a Private_ID of 2201_0253 in the 1st cell, and drag down and fill as many cells as I need, and the numbers will increment sequentially. (Under certain circumstancecs, which I haven't been able to figure out, Excel will instead auto-fill every cell with the same number. If that happens, I just type in the number for the second cell, highlight both cells, and then drag/auto-fill.) And there is nothing you should be copying and pasting. All you need is the private ID column in your csv file and the {{private_id}}.jpg in the field-mapping template.
My CSV file's first colulmn is the Private_ID. There is no Image column. It is not necessary.
My upload template has the instructions for the image.
So the system grabs the Private_ID number, appends .jpg to it, and then matches it with the file name of the image you uploaded.
Michael David, I see you put {{private_id}}.jpg as a column in your csv file. No, that text goes into the Image block of the field mapping template of the bulk uploader.
Image and private ID., At the time we were going through this it was my understanding that you to have both those columns and the numbers had to match.
And the biggest reason I don't save them the way you do is that I print off 1,000 labels at a time with the private ID. I can't scan 1,000 items a day at this time. If I try to save them the way you do they will not match the labels I have printed up with my inventory numbers. It was done for time savings so I don't have to write inventory numbers on the 102 cards, glassines or sleeves that I use. It also simplifies things a bit for me as I don't have to keep track of the scan date start and end, I can just continue right on down the line.
Okay, the priblem has an easy fix. In the upload template, in the Image box, put .jpg after {{private_id}} It should then look like this {{private_id}}.jpg Then right above that, on the drop down selector for the Image box, Do Not put a column name in there. It should be set at whatever the null value is, Select, or Choose (I’m on my phone now, so can’t check it).
Oh, and then before hitting the upload button, enter a name for you template and save it. Then it’s easy to figure out which template to use next time.
OK @Ted Tyszka , I have cleared the image column field, and below it I included the good ole' {{private_id}}.jpg - which I also caught just before your last post. Great - Fingers crossed (ya, once again!)...
It means those stamps are feeling unloved and neglected. Of course none of my stamps are languishing unsold. I talk to them all the time and let them know how much I love them.

I have a way to share my CSV file!... sec... here it comes!
And there is nothing you should be copying and pasting. All you need is the private ID column in your csv file and the {{private_id}}.jpg in the field-mapping template.
Any ideas as to why my images are not showing up in my listings???
Thanks Guys!
This is where I just understand what is this field-mapping template about? Is there somewhere I am able to read up on this field-mapping?
Thanks Much!!!

And bellow is a sample of what it looks like.
Great assistance everyone! This is so tyring! Zzz...
My own way to organize my K.A.O.S.!
My images are still not showing up. Oh well, we'll get through this. It has to be something so silly and simple to correct. It has to be Pilot Error!
Thanks
To start off with, there is:
DEFAULT
DEFAULT - Update Existing Listings By ID
or
LAST USED Settings (Auto Saved On....)
I always have used DEFAULT Update Existing Listings By ID. As for the next page, I'll take a screenshot of that now...
And Thanks!
And that should be everything. (Still no images with the 10 new listings).
Thanks!
My CSV screenshot is earlier up the list.
It should then look like this
{{private_id}}.jpg
Then right above that, on the drop down selector for the Image box, Do Not put a column name in there. It should be set at whatever the null value is, Select, or Choose (I’m on my phone now, so can’t check it).
