Is there a way to look up what a particular stamp has sold for on HipStamp? I so not mean a stamp I sold myself. I wanted to know what Belgian precancels actually sold for. I can see what they are listed for of course but not if they sell for those prices.

  • You have to pay extra to hipstamp for that information
You can see what they sold for free on eBay
  • Look under the BUYING tab. Click on HipValues Subscription, at the bottom of the navigation bar on the right.
Options are for US only, US and Worldwide, and US/Worldwide with a couple of other capabilities.

Thanks guys. I don't remember what I entitled my question but this was not it. I will just look at that other site to see what they sell for.

Another very bad decision to charge for information that should be totally free - in my opinion- it is an insult to the buyers to charge for this. All this does is redirect a potential buyer to Ebay. once they are there .. of course they will stay. not only is this service free on ebay but the results are up to 50 times more, current, and the number of options are great. Anyone on Ebay that has clicked on the little adanced tab from a selected stamp search enquiry knows how to explore these options and for FREE- select Sold. :-)
  • That is the key it is FREE.
