Is NYStamps a good source of recent market prices of sold stamps
I list a lot of Canada stamps. I have noticed that NYStamps sells a lot of Canada on Ebay. In trying to set selling prices for Canada mint stamps, I have looked pretty thoroughly at such sales on Ebay. Surprisingly, for some recent sales (last 3 months) I've noticed some wide variances on specific stamps which appear very similar in condition. Makes me wonder if this seller's results are indicative of the "market".

I've bought some of them, and I bid on one today. To good of a deal to past up.
I stopped when when it appeared I was biding against a shill.
The last time I bid one on of his auctions it looked like a shill was biding it up.
I try to not even look at his stuff.
His low prices might be because collectors are avoiding him.
He's been called out for misidentifying stamps and not having a good return policy.
Even going as far as saying he can't be held responsible what his staff do.
I posted on this forum a while back about he listed on ebay the 1992 Columbian reprints,
as 1892 Columbians.
