Why don't messages set to Hipstamps show up in your set messages

I have sent a couple of messages to Hipstamps through their contact logo ,but they do not show up in my sent messages,so How do I know they have been sent/received first message was yesterday ,and have received no notification that either has been received ?

You should have received an email stating that your help request was received, and that staff support would be in touch with you within 24 business hours.

Funny that I just received one ,didn't receive one for the message yesterday ,lucky I sent another.I await the outcome with baited breath.
