Uggg! How do I specify shipping?

Now I have customers kicking my legs out from under me..
I give customers the option of $3.50 or 0.50 shipping their choice..
Low an behold a customer buys two mini sheets and choses 0.50 shipping.
Really..come on. We all know they wont fit in a regular envelope.
I sent Megan an email..how do I cancell this sale.
Hope she responds.
Is this what happens when you try to be fair??
Good customer, but I'm not in this to pay you to buy my stamps...sorry ain't happening.

  • You should set up your store's postage setup page with another shipping rule, to use for listings like this. I don't blame the customer for choosing one of the options you offered.

    Alternatively, you can keep your postage setup as is, but price exceptional items accordingly, to account for higher postage. I sell books offering one flat rate shipping fee, so my customers don't have to worry about checking the postage on every listing. If I have a 15-pound lot, where postage will exceed my flat rate, I factor that extra cost into the listing price.
  • As a Seller, our terms and conditions require that you specify the shipping charges you wish to charge your customers within the shipping settings that we provide. If you've set up a shipping option for $0.50, the buyer will be able to select $0.50 for shipping, and you would not be allowed to cancel the sale if they select this option (because you provided it to them). If this is not an option you want to offer on specific items, you would need to remove it from the listing(s) in question.
