Can anyone tell me if the stamps from Cambodia, Scott #393-399 as an example plus others, have dry tropical gum and if so how can I tell without moistening the back? Thank you in advance for any help.

  • My understanding is that "dry tropical gum" is discoloration caused by decay of an ingredient in the gum from heat in the tropics. Not an invisible adhesive product made for use in tropical climes.
