I just found out that the Russian ship which demanded that the Snake Island garrison surrender, and the ship pictured on the stamp, was the cruiser Moskva. Karma's a bitch, ain't it?
Well isn't that special like a cold water enema. The people around me can't figure out why I hate everyone equally. People doing things like that. $50 for a single, unfortunately someone out there is going to pay for it. On ebay, I'd be surprised if they aren't fake.
I saw those in a news item, so I don't have them myself. They were available through Ukraine's postal service, Ukrposhta, but the article mentioned there were only 20,000 FDCs. There are two values for domestic and international rates. Also, despite doing yeoman's work during a war, Ukrposhta was swamped with requests. I hope you can get some. And if there is only one decent human interest story to come from this damned war, this is probably it.
You have ordered our “Russian Warship go F.. yourself” stamp. Due to the significant number of speculative orders, we had to cancel all prior orders. However, tomorrow we are opening an opportunity for you to re-order first, between 9:00 and 10:00 am (Kyiv Time Zone), before it will be available to the public. The link for the order will be sent at 9:00 am.
Please note that since our goal is to make the stamp available to a maximum number of clients, the sale will be limited to 1 block of stamps and 2 themed envelopes per order. We would kindly ask you not to order multiple times, as such orders will be blocked and cancelled.
Thank you for your attention to Ukrainian postage stamps! Please stay tuned for the upcoming issues.
Check your Email. I just got a notifiction that the website is back up. This came at 11:26 pm PDT
They are now being called a "novelty" not a postage stamp. So there is a price increase from US $.80 for the mini sheet of 6 to US $9.00 plus US$7.20 shipping $.10 packing. Only one per custormer.
I was succesful in ordering one, plus some others, just because.
I'll gladly pay a premium to the Ukrainan Post Office, what I didn't like were the profitteers.
Damn..... "I am afeard there are few die well that die in a battle..." I hate and despise everything the Russian government has done in this war, but it is still a tragedy when a great ship is lost. This is a cognitive dissonance that I cannot easily explain. For the cruiser Moskva to be damaged and towed off for scrap is one thing, but for it to be sunk is another. And yet again, I am not unhappy that it is sunk. I don't think any of that makes sense. But this war doesn't make sense either....

With five million copies.
Edit to add.
I think I might have fallen for a joke.
The Russia Ship Moskva is missing and sunk on some of the stamps.
I kind of hope it's not a joke.

This is a pre-war image.
