1824 folded letter carried by the Cope Line vessel Algonquin. Partial Liverpool ship letter marking; London backstamps; 1/7 rating (11d inland postage, 8d ship fee); forwarded in England. Maiden sailing of the Algonquin; with partially clear ship name handstamp at lower left, one of 3 recorded examples. Ex Hugh Feldman, sold for $1100 in 2009. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
