Red CDS; postmaster free frank from the PM of Hector Falls (so-called "Travelling" postmaster frank - postmaster's frank was valid from all offices, not just his own). Letter content includes reference to a canal boat. Hector Falls is a short-lived Tompkins County office, 1825-1832.From a large collection of canal town postal history I will be breaking up in coming months.Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
