1831 stampless folded letter with red Washington City CDS and free frank of S.R. Hobbie, who was 2nd assistant PMG 1829-1836. Mostly printed form regarding appointment of a postmaster at North Fairhaven MA, signed by William Barry (who was postmaster general 1829-1835).
