Item Description

1847 Newark Ohio stampless folded letter to Columbus.  Red CDS, large heavy 5 in circle rate handstamp.  Letter content is datelined Granville and is from the receiver for the Granville Alexandrian Society, encouraging the recipient to forward any Granville bank notes they have to the receiver.  Neat local historical item.

Ohio
customers pay 8% sales tax.  Hip handles collection and remittance of
taxes from an increasing number of other states.  I
combine shipping on won items but please aggregate things and pay in a
single payment to save multiple paypal payments.

Basic
domestic shipping is FREE for this item (some of my items are consigned and I do
charge postage for those; please check individual items).  Over $30, I
use a cardboard mailer where appropriate.  Over $50, tracking is included for domestic.  $2 shipping for international.  I
use at least one current stamp on
virtually all outgoing mail.  If you'd like tracking on a less expensive, you can simply select that option at the extra cost ($4.50, thanks to 2019 USPS rate changes).
