Stampless folded letter to Crown Lands office in Toronto.Letter datelined at Normanby March 12th, posted at Neustadt (Grey County) U.C. and handstamp rated 'PAID' '3'.The Neustadt U.C. double broken circle is the only reported strike of the hammer and is the earliest recorded instance from this office that opened in 1857.On back is a next day Hanover U.C. double broken circle transit, this is the only recorded strike of the hammer and the 2nd earliest recorded instance from the Hanover office.Also on back are Bentinck and Guelph transits along with a Toronto receiver.A nice Grey County item.Condition Note: Please examine scans.A Note Regarding Payments and ShippingI offer combined shipping BUT buyers MUST use the Hip shopping cart to make purchases and payments.
